SSH as a cross cutting topic in FP7

In addition to all topics under Theme 8 "Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities" of the Specific Programme "Cooperation", FP7 also offers other research topics with a variety of possibilities for SSH scientists from the field of SSH to participate.
It is estimated that an additional budget of about 3 billion € is allocated in these "cross cutting topics" for the whole duration of FP7.

The SSH NCP is in charge of all topics, which form cross sections between socio-economics and other areas and thus offer possibilites for researchers from SSH to participate.

Our support for researchers within these cross-sections includes:

- Consultation on questions of qualification and classification of ideas regarding themes and instruments of FP7
- Information on all matters of application
- Consultation on questions and problems during the project's duration.

We offer you the latest overview on research topics in the specific programmes "Cooperation", "People" and "Capacities" with regard to their reference to SSH:

The document "Opportunities for SSH Researchers" is published by NET4SOCIETY - the SSH NCP Network which is coordinated by the German SSH NCP - and provides a summary of all relevant research topics of the current Work Programmes across FP7 with reference to SSH.

The document will be updated as the new Work Programmes for 2013 have been published!
